Increasing the use of zero-emission vehicles is something no single company can do on its own. The wide adoption of the vehicles requires that the cars be economical to use and that the societal infrastructure be in place to support their use. The Renault-Nissan Alliance has begun work toward rolling out zero-emission cars in Israel, Portugal, the Principality of Monaco, UK, France, Switzerland, Ireland, China, and Shingapore, In Japan, we are working with Kanagawa Prefecture and the city of Yokohama, and in the United States, we are in talks with state governments in Tennessee, Oregon ,California, Arizona, Washington and North Carolina, with the goal of prompting zero-emission mobility and creating the required infrastructure.
